GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for screening patients in atimely manner and per policy for nutrition risk, documenting follow upinteractions, creating nutrition care plans and modifying as needed. Thisincludes TPN/PPN and Tube Feeding recommendations. In addition, this positionis responsible for diet education to inpatients and outpatients.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Good decision making and judgment capabilities.The ability to instruct others. The ability to identify and solve complex problems. Being socially perceptive; that is, aware of the reactions of others and understanding those reactions. Good reading comprehension skills. Effective logic, reasoning and critical thinking skills. Effective writing skills. Effective speaking skills. Active listening skills.

 Baccalaureate degree in Nutrition Sciences. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required. Massachusetts Licensure required.
