Harrington's Behavioral Health Program is a comprehensive continuum of behavioral health services including programs specializing in recovery, substance abuse, adult mental health, school-based services, child and adolescent services, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient services (IOP), inpatient psychiatry and a new co-occurring disorders unit (CDU). 

ABOUT OUR PROGRAM: Harrington HealthCare System has one of the most comprehensive recovery services programs in the state. Over the last few years, we have made solid investments in expanding the access to services and providing much-needed treatment for patients across southern Worcester County and northeastern Connecticut.

At Harrington, we're here to help patients make the first step and guide them on a path to success. Our programs include intensive outpatient therapy, diagnostic evaluations, day and evening individual and group therapy, DUI classes, family addiction support group, Suboxone program and psychiatric medication management.


GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Provide quality clinical treatment to clients as assigned by the Intake Coordinator and/or the Department Director.Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients of varied ages and stages in recovery.

Responsible for managing caseload through consultations, collateral contact, and following up with the client on missed appointments. Maintain Productivity Benchmarks, Maintain current level of professional licensure, & Maintain CAQH credentialing.Complete all documentation and paperwork specific to each department and in compliance with hospital requirements, DMH, BSAS, The Joint Commission, and Insurance Providers.

2 years of experience working with adults and families with a variety of mental health disorders and/ or substance abuse disorders in a clinical setting.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Graduation and training from an accredited graduate program with a current unrestricted licensure by the Massachusetts or Connecticut Board of Registration: MA/MSW, PhD (LICSW / LMHC/ LMFT/ LPC).
