Registered Nurse - Fellowship Program Department: Nursing -Float Shift: 72 Hrs/pp 7pm - 7:30am Night shift w/wknd commitment Job Details: - Associates degree required or diploma RN

- Ability to pass medication assessment test
A temporary job category with a maximum duration of the earlier of ninety (90) days from graduation or receipt of the results from the initial NCLEX examination taken. The Nursing Graduate is a graduate of a Board-approved registered nurse (RN) nursing education program or an out-of-state nursing education program determined to be equivalent by the Board. The Nursing Graduate will cease to practice as a Nursing Graduate immediately if the Nursing Graduate fails the initial NCLEX examination. If the Nursing Graduate fails the NCLEX examination, the Nursing Graduate may practice in a Patient Care Technician position provided the individual obtains certification as a Nursing Assistant and practices according to COMAR 10.39.01.
Must have graduated from a Board approved nursing education program or an out-of-state nursing education program determined to be equivalent by the Board, and be eligible to take the RN NCLEX examination. Must pass NCLEX examination on the first attempt. Will be moved to other job category after NCLEX results obtained. Must demonstrate competencies in Principle Duties and Responsibilities within probationary period. Must maintain current CPR certification.
