The Medical Laboratory Technician is directly responsible to the Laboratory Manager in the performance of test procedures, quality control, reporting of results, and equipment maintenance, solving of instrument problems, recognizing abnormal results, ensuring proper quality control for all methods and procedures, collecting blood and body fluid samples properly, reporting complaints and concerns to the Laboratory Manager, consulting with physicians regarding test results, and maintaining adequate supplies and reagents.
