The Compliance Project Specialist under the direction of the Director of Corporate Compliance must have the ability to acquire and utilize a through knowledge of organization policies, practices, and operations and oral communication skills to perform routine administrative details, such as arranging meetings, responding to non-routine inquiries from telephone callers or visitors, and gathering background information for sensitive or confidential reports.  Must possess the ability to convey a professional image, as well as, effectively represent the organization as appropriate in its relationship with external customers


Requires strong background in E&M and Physician Services Coding, Hospital Services Coding, healthcare/ clinical audit and educating providers


CPC,CCS,CPMA,CHC required 

  • Bachelor's degree not required,  but may be used in place of administrative experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the Compliance field or in a healthcare related area.


  • Familiar with standard Compliance program concepts, practices, and procedures.  
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, comfort with large data sets, ability to recognize and correct discrepancies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to work on tasks where considerable  judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. 
  • High level of computer literacy with command of office software including Outlook, Excel, and Word. 
  • Ability to function as a part of a team and collaborate to accomplish larger goals. 
  • Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
