Position Summary

 

Although the location for this position is listed as Fairbanks, it could possibly be based in the West Central Region, East Central region or in the Indy Suburban region.

 

Assists in the development and execution of the enterprise-wide annual Corporate Compliance work-plan(s). Monitors regulatory, legal, and industry developments and identifies opportunities for their application to the Corporate Compliance program. Supports department initiatives to aid in the assessment and reporting on enterprise-wide Corporate Compliance issues. Facilitates the analysis of risk and execution of the annual audit plan. Helps evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal and operational controls designed to ensure that processes and practices lead to appropriate execution of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to corporate integrity and billing compliance.

 

Requirements/Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in a related field of experience.
  • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience; healthcare setting preferred.
  • Requires professional certification in a compliance-related field of expertise, such as internal audit, fraud investigation, health care compliance, information management, etc. and/or RN with licensure in the state of Indiana.
  • Requires healthcare experience within a compliance audit function or extensive clinical, operational, or other healthcare experience in areas related to billing, privacy, security, or information technology compliance.
  • May be required to travel to affiliate locations throughout the state in order to maintain effective contact with affiliate personnel and/or perform engagement procedures.
