IU Health is seeking new graduate RNs and experienced RNs for Krannert, a fast paced surgical oncology floor at IU Health University Hospital. Nurses will have the opportunity to collaborate with the brightest minds in medicine and work with a multidisciplinary team to care for patients after surgery. The care we provide is driven by the latest research and our patients receive procedures that are offered very few place around the state. We provide leading edge care in the treatment of urological cancers, including bladder, prostrate, kidney and testicular cancers. This unit also cares for orthopedic oncology patients as well as patients recovering from thyroid and parathyroid surgeries.   

New Grad?

During your second week of orientation you will get to participate in RN Foundations. RN foundations is an opportunity to practice assessment skills and clinical techniques for an entire week throughout the hospital to gain hands on experience before taking a patient assignment with your preceptor. Also, our Nurse Residency Program offers a dynamic experience that will positively impact your ability to provide quality, compassionate care to our patients.
