The Supervisor - Imaging Services will work with the Manager and/or Director, and will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the daily functions and workflow of assigned departmental personnel. They will supervise Imaging Services personnel involved in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Diagnostics, Non-Invasive Cardiology, Vascular Lab, Interventional, Neurodiagnostics, or Mammography procedures. This individual will ensure department rules, regulations, procedures, and protocols are properly followed.
The individual would need to be able to lead 8-10 other individuals across several locations, handle equipment, and understand and be able to apply regulatory standards for radiology to practice and educate staff. There would be some responsibility to participate in regulatory surveys. This role will include coordinating schedules and figuring out daily assignments. A positive attitude, good work ethic, dedication, and flexibility is desired for this role. The individual may be asked to do various other projects as assigned.
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited, relevant training program
- Basic Life Support certification
- Certification as required, per specific modality
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT), The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) required per specific modality
- Knowledge of state and federal laws relative to assigned area
- Requites the ability to maneuver equipment and improve positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routing positioning
- 5-7 years of experience, per specific modality, preferred
