The Pricing Analyst supports prudent financial management through data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and modeling. Performs monthly and/or ad hoc reporting, prepares pro formas based on historical, comparative, and projection data. Provides accurate analysis to support outcome and impact based decision making. Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets with a high degree of accuracy.
The Pricing Analysts are experts in calculating reimbursement for IU Health on the facility and physician side. The Pricing Analysts establish how charges are set on a patient's bill. They have to set, maintain, and implement strategies for reimbursement. This team is also responsible for setting contractual rates with IU Health vendors/payers.
Individuals with healthcare, pricing strategy experience will be highly successful in this role. An analytical background, SQL/relational database experience is a must.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products/applications; strong Microsoft Excel experience required; relational database and financial or operational modeling experience a plus.
- Requires 2+ years of relevant financial and operational analysis experience.
- Requires analytical experience working with complex data sets.
