The Administrative Director – Ambulatory Services is responsible for providing administrative decision-making, leadership, and strategic planning involving the efficient and productive use of personnel, material, and financial resources in the multi-specialty ambulatory services within the Adult Academic Health Center (AAHC) outpatient clinics. The incumbent will lead the efficient and purposeful integration of services with other areas and emerging delivery systems and is responsible for providing leadership in all facets of patient care that ensure quality. Other opportunities include:
- Creating strategies to improve patient access and avoid leakage within areas of oversight.
- Supporting and mentoring a team of 13 managers (total span of control is 250 FTEs).
- Collaborating with physician partners and leadership to build strong relationships.
- Requires Master's degree in Health or Business-related field; BSN in Nursing with current licensure in the state of Indiana preferred.
- 10+ years of management experience in a health care setting, required.
- Requires knowledge of state and federal laws relative to assigned area.

Direct Reports: 13 Ambulatory Nurse Managers
Other key Relationships: AAHC Senior Leadership; SPA partnership; EVS; Clinical Engineering team
