Responsible for accurate and timely filing, retrieval, tracking, scanning and maintenance of medical records. Ability to utilize computerized systems for medical record processes. Knowledge of medical records release processes. Performs a variety of clerical and filing duties. Reports to Practice Manager/Supervisor.
Experience, Education and Training Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent. English grammar, spelling and punctuation skills. Skill in operating a computer and general office equipment with the ability to file and maintain materials utilizing alpha and/or numeric systems required. Knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology preferred.
