Job Details:



    This position would be responsible for assisting the physician in performing Heart Caths, pacemakers, interventional procedures to include PTCA, stent and IABP etc.  The CV tech performs/reviews baseline patient assessments, evaluates and charts patient's response to diagnostic or interventional procedures.





    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.     1. Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Invasive Technology training program required OR Two years experience in related field required.


    1. Demonstrated ability to scrub, monitor and circulate on the following procedures:
      1. Diagnostic Cardiac catheterization
      2. Interventional Cardiac procedures
      3. Pacemakers
      4. Intra-aortic balloon.



    1. ACLS within 6 months of hire.
    2. BLS Required within 60 days of hire.


    1. Must be available to be on call as needed and able to arrive at the hospital within 20 minutes of a page when on call.
