  • To work with the Manager of Quality and Safety to coordinate the organizational Quality Assurance and Performance
    Improvement activities.  Assists and consults with the organization’s management teams and medical staffs for constant  improvement of clinical activities consistent with certification and accreditation processes.  Supervises the Infection Prevention process.

    1.Current RN Licensure with State of Montana
    2.College commiserates with licensure, college degree preferred
    3.Three years of experience coordinating performance improvement activities
    4.Extensive computer abilities including management and administration of external and internal databases
    5.Understanding of principles of adult education and learning
    6.Knowledge of business English including excellent writing skills
    7.Ability to communicate orally and in writing to individuals, small, and large groups
    8.Familiarity with clinical department functioning and management
    9.Ability to operate automotive equipment
    10.Ability to travel to outside training and educational opportunities
    11.Understanding of Infection Prevention principles and protocols
    12.Familiarity with NHSN activities and processes
    13.Familiarity with healthcare regulations and processes

    Job Duties:
    1.The Performance Improvement Coordinator will design and implement an effective performance improvement plan throughout the hospital.
    2.Maintain productive working relationship with individuals responsible for performance improvement efforts in the various departs.
    3.Work with medical staff leaders to assist with improvement efforts as they arise
    4.Educates leadership, medical staff and staff regarding performance improvement strategies, activities and processes.
    5.Aggregate, analyze, and present data in a manor understandable and relevant to various audiences
    6.Understands and follows principles of data integrity
    7.Ability to be self-motivating and organized
    8.Prioritize multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines
    9.Organizes and leads the Performance Improvement Committee
    10.Supervises Infection Prevention activities and Infection Preventionists
    11.Oversee data submission to regulatory agencies as needed.  Agencies include but not limited to CMS, HEN, Crimson, and NHSN.
    12.Stays current with regulatory changes and educates other regarding those changes as necessary
