We currently have an opening for a Clinical Nurse II in our Adult Psychiatry Unit.
Patients from Kansas City and throughout Kansas are admitted to our inpatient Psychiatry Unit for adults. They have a wide variety of acute psychiatric conditions that require assessment, evaluation, and treatment. Our nurses are part of an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric social workers, experienced psychiatric nurses, occupational and recreational therapists, and other professionals. Members of our Psychiatric Liaison Service also work closely with the hospital's Emergency Department to treat patients with urgent psychiatric conditions.
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
* Kansas Registered Nurse license or eligible.
* 2 or more years of nursing experience.
* Must have an American Heart Association basic life support (BLS) or an American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification.
* Other certifications may be required depending on nursing unit.
