To function as an integrated member of a department’s business operation by providing comprehensive human resource consultation with the purpose of maximizing the effectiveness of business and human resource processes that drive a high performance culture. Works collaboratively with designated partners to incorporate HR expertise to support and maximize departmental performance. Articulates an understanding of the department’s business goals, strengths and opportunities. Observes and analyzes process designs, identifying barriers to successful outcomes.
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of training and/or experience required. Advanced degree preferred. SPHR preferred. Minimum of five years HR experience with a focus in employee relations and/or HR Generalist experience required. Healthcare experience preferred. Prior background in HR Business Partner role in a dynamic, fast-paced and demanding environment preferred. Must have strong communication skills, utilize sound judgment and have strong critical thinking abilities. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Extensive overall experience in employee relations is strongly preferred, especially with regards to leading and/or advising on employee allegations/investigations in a fast-paced environment. Employee relations experience in a Just Culture is highly desired. We are seeking a candidate who has had previous experience in developing, executing, and measuring effective diversity strategies for mid-size or large-scale organizations.
