In conjunction with the management staff, may assist and co-ordinate responsibility for inventory control of office and medical supplies within the department. Assesses workload and under general supervision, performs a variety of administrative duties, requiring the exercise of initiative and judgment. Assures the smooth operation of the department’s clerical functions including working with variety of software programs. Works closely with case managers to address transcription, scheduling and data entry issues.
High School diploma or G.E.D. required. Advanced Degree preferred. Minimum 2 years administrative experience required. Must have working knowledge of medical terminology. Prior experience working in a health care setting preferred. Must possess and demonstrate organizational skills. Must demonstrate good understanding of computers and computer skills. Word processing skills required. Must possess good oral and written communication skills and the ability to problem solve. Ability to deal appropriately with a number of interruptions.
