Dietary aide will sanitize dishes, maintain work station, trayline, clean equipment and stock in accordance with State and Federal regulatory standards. The individual is responsible for limited food preparation via the trayline, washing kitchen instruments and using safe and sanitary food handling practices while maintaining equipment/work areas as directed. The staff member will provide service at a level that meets or exceeds the expectations of our customers, visitors and other LRHS associates.
High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Ability to read at an 8th grade level and perform mathematical computations at a 6th grade level, as documented by successfully passing a math and reading test. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build cooperative working relationships with all staff members, patient families, and visitors required. Strong communication and ability to work with minimal supervision. Must have physical dexterity to frequently bend, twist, reach, lift up to 50lbs, perform dishwashing, cleaning and stand for long periods of time, etc.
Must have flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday rotation. This is a union position.
