Primary responsibility is to collect and submit reliable data for all assigned registries and data bases and ensures the completeness, accuracy and consistency of the data based on the quality standards expected from the various regulatory agencies and registries. Maintains a comprehensive understanding of data definition for all assigned data collection measurement and ensure data is collected according to the standard definitions and data submission are validated accurately and submitted timely. Work collaboratively with the Clinical Performance Coordinators and Key Service Clinical & Medical Directors to analyses reports and to provide education specific to the indicators being monitored. Has excellent clinical knowledge and experience in the assigned clinical area of data collection or registry.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan. Three or more years nursing experience in hospital or heath care setting required. Must have excellent technical skills to develop computer tracker models, access and manipulate computer data and understand basic report writing. Must be proficient in Microsoft office including word, excel. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact in an effective manner.
