Administer immunizations to healthcare providers, generally on-site however will require travel to off- site locations as well. Maintains commitment to the achievement of quality Associate Health and Wellness services by maintaining the employee right to privacy, confidentiality, ownership, compassion and a winning attitude. Provide processing for new hires including immunization administration as well as documentation tracking and storage in associate’s file. Readily researches and provides up to date guidelines/recommendations from MIOSHA, OSHA, LARA, CDC, and other Occupational Health governing bodies Assists with the maintenance of the MSDS database. Assists with the performance of associate and manager FIT testing.
Requires strong interpersonal skills needed to deal effectively with diverse group of internal and external contacts, including ill and/or injured employees. Previous experience working with a large number of people is highly desirable. Licensed Practical Nurse with a valid Michigan license. Ability to work under stress to meet deadlines and concentrate on details for approximately 60% of work time. Must have the ability to work in an environment with numerous interruptions. Two to three years of work experience in an office setting is preferred. Previous experience dealing with OSHA, MIOSHA, Workers' Compensation and Federal and State laws pertaining to Associate Health and Wellness and safety is preferred. Requires ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality in dealing with personnel and Associate Health and Wellness medical records. Previous computer and/or word processing experience required.
