Responsible for assisting nursing directors, managers, and supervisors in the scheduling of staff for all patient care services departments. This position is a part of the newly implemented central staffing office. Collaborate with all supervisors for the purpose of developing a master staffing pattern based on patient’s needs and the method of assignment utilizing the computerized scheduling system. Also responsible for input of payroll nursing data for the purpose of assuring accurate employee wages and coordinates scheduling of all non-productive hours to maintain accurate records
High School diploma/GED required. Minimum 1-year administrative experience or related field or equivalent combination of training and/or experience required. Administrative experience in healthcare preferred. Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as ability to pay close attention to detail required. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build cooperative working relationships with all staff members required. Strong computer skills required. Must have the ability to accomplish duties with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities. Must be committed to the continuous improvement of the patient experience which includes patient safety, quality of care and excellent service.
Must be flexible to work day shift or afternoon shift.
