Public Relations Specialist
The Public Relations Specialist will assist with all aspects of the public relations and communications efforts of the Health Systems, with a strong focus on graphic design work. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: designing publications, advertisements, brochures, newsletters, direct mail pieces and other marketing materials. Responsibilities also include photography, videography, video editing assistance and attendance at periodic community events during weeknights and weekends.
Prefer a four-year degree in graphic design/visual communication with concentration in communications and writing. Minimum of two years of graphic design experience required, in addition to an excellent command of the English language, strong grammatical and editing skills and oral communication skills. Previous health care experience is a plus. Must demonstrate competency with computer software, including word processing, publication design, and photography. Candidate must have a high skill level in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office. Experience with videography and Premiere video editing software is preferred.
