  • Job Summary: This position will support LLUHS`s strategic plan and the organization`s mission to continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ, while embracing the core values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Wholeness. The Coordinator-AV Media conducts research in health and spiritual programming and their effective presentation in a cross-cultural environment. Writes, develops and produces health and spiritual programming for the campus, as well as creative documentaries and public relations programs from events that take place on campus. Serves as communication-liaison from the department to LLU, LLUMC and campus churches, and to key exhibitions/events, and also assists director in departmental communications. Performs graphic design, video editing and PowerPoint for video production and departmental needs. These services may be provided for both the LLUMC and LLUCH hospitals. Performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: Able to read, write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position. Multilingual and multicultural and member of Seventh Day Adventist church preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field required or an additional six years of experience in lieu of Degree. Minimum two years of experience in professional writing, graphic design and production required. Valid Driver's License required at time of hire.
