- Master's Degree

Under the general direction of the lead of Expressive Therapy, designs and implements projects for a diversified population suited to their intellectual and emotional needs, allowing for differences in individual skill levels. Provides group and individual therapy to encourage constructive expression of potentially destructive emotions. Provides support as well as psychosocial and psycho-educational materials. Utilizes expressive therapy knowledge to create innovative and evidence based group and individual practices. Prepares materials used in expressive therapy, dance, drama, art, music, and spirituality groups. Documents initial assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in the medical record.
- A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in an Expressive Arts Therapy field or a Master's degree in Mental Health Field with additional training in one of the expressive arts therapies (Art, Music, Drama or Movement).
- Experience working with adults 21-64 years of age required
- Licensed in the state of Illinois as an LCSW or LPC or LMFT. Expressive arts therapy experience working inpatient or outpatient Behavioral Health.
- LPC Preferred or

- LCSW Preferred
