A RN - DRF is a professional, registered nurse who assumes responsibility, with guidance from clinical resource people, as needed, for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of a nursing plan of care in response to the needs of his/her assigned patients, providing direct nursing care to these patients on a designated unit. RN - DRF's have the authority and are held accountable for decisions specific to the following areas of patient care management.
