GENERAL SUMMARY:   Demonstrates commitment to the vision, core purpose/mission and goals of LRMC, modeling the values and culture. The Electrophysiology Technical Specialist  (EP Tech) is responsible to the Manager of Invasive and Non Invasive Cardiology or their designee. The EP Tech's role is to assist the Cardiology on all procedures in the Electrophysiology lab, including: implanting devises and arrhythmia ablations. Serve the need of patients by overseeing the development, integration, and evaluation of the effectiveness of patient protocols and effects of patient outcomes. Ensures compliance with current regulatory requirements. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes team concepts and reflects LRMC's mission and philosophy. Performs other duties as assigned.

 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Preferred: Competency in Advanced ECG interpretation, experience with EP mapping and ablation systems.
Required: ACLS, Competency in ECG intrepretations.

EDUCATION:

Required: Graduate of Accredited Cardiovascular Interfential Technical Program, or on the job training with RCIS

EXPERIENCE:

Preferred: 1 year experience as a EP Tech
Required: Minimum 2 years experience as a Cath Lab and/or EP Lab Tech

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER:

Preferred: Registerd Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Certification in Pacing and Electophysiology with the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (NASPE)
Required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
