Department: Family Health Center
Schedule: Monday-Friday with Occasional Weekends as Needed
Shift: Fulltime
Hours: 80 Hrs Biweekly, 8a-5p

Preferred:  Bilingual (Spanish-speaking).  Strong phlebotomy skills.  Previous experience with specimen collection, EKGs, sterile technique, and assisting with minor office procedures.


Required:  Ability to read, write and type.  Excellent  organizational and communication skills.  Ability to prioritize tasks and recognize urgent situations from those that are non-urgent.   Ability to navigate various computer applications. 




Required:  High School diploma or equivalent.  Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.




Preferred:  Indepth working knowledge of how an ambulatory clinic/physician’s office functions. Two - three years of recent experience in a fast-paced, physician’s practice setting.




Required: CPR Required.    CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) , NCMA (NCCT) or CCMA (NHA) required



GENERAL SUMMARY:  Demonstrates commitment to the vision, core purpose/mission and goals of LRMC, modeling the values and culture. Demonstrates ongoing knowledge, ability, competence and skill to perform assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner to patients of all ages; infancy through geriatrics, under the direct supervision of the provider.   Performs other duties as assigned.
