Department: Nutrition & Food Services - A
Schedule: Per Diem
Shift: Variable shifts
Hours: per diem; variable hours/shifts; every other weekend
Job Details:
  • Minimum 1 year experience preferred
  • Under the direction of the Food Service Managers, this position is responsible for ensuring patients’ meals are in accordance with their diet restrictions. This position is key in representing our department at a high level of customer service to patients and their families.  Works as a team player, performs diversified duties on patient care units, in call center office and kitchen, following standard practices and complying with regulatory requirements. Supports the department’s mission to provide superior food and nutrition services.

     

    Qualifications/Competencies:

    • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) preferred.
    • 3 years of experience in a food service environment preferred.
    • Strong oral communication skills.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Experience in working with a phone system preferred.
    • Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications strongly preferred.
