- Minimum 3 years experience required
Supports, enhances and maintains clinical information systems applications. Works as a consultant with management team, physicians, department heads, user groups, and key users to analyze, design, develop and implement new projects and modifications. Conducts special studies and analyses regarding development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs. Identifies and implements information system solutions that support more efficient and effective work performance based on inherent knowledge of clinical functions and processes. Assists in developing and managing project plans for deployment of new and/or changes to information system applications.
Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a Clinical Discipline (ex: Lab) preferred.
3 years of current lab and/or healthcare clinical experience required.
Knowledge of healthcare laboratory systems required.
Reporting capabilities a plus.
Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications.
