The Primary Nurse Supervisor is a key member of the Nurse Leadership team. Position provides oversight on a daily basis for efficient clinical functioning, including the nursing staff schedule, oversight of patient/resident care, and communicating and collaborating with Primary Nurses. Communicates regularly with the CNS and Nurse Managers regarding clinical practice.
Contributes to and supports a person-centered, individualized care environment with emphasis on patient/resident choice and clinical best practice for highest quality and care experience. Believes in and practices “Doing the right things for the right reasons”.
Must have either a current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or an RN license recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact (https://www.ncsbn.org/nlc.htm). If RN licensure is from a compact state, must obtain a state of Maine RN license within 90 days of changing primary residency to Maine required
- Associate’s degree in Nursing preferred
- 3 years or more experience preferred
Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications: experience with Excel, Word, Access
