To provide complex substance abuse and mental health counseling (and family and/or couples therapy when appropriate) according to established policies and procedures, to clients assessed as appropriate for those services. Contributes to the overall integration and success of the Program and the Network by being a team player, accepting and offering guidance as appropriate, participating in Network activities and training as requested, and by promoting organizational integration based on the mission, vision, and values. Assesses clients at intake and enters them into treatment or refers them to more appropriate services. Assesses for substance abuse and mental health issues. Determines appropriate service needs in accordance with ASAM criteria for substance abuse and medical necessity for mental health issues. Provides complex substance abuse and mental health counseling for individuals based on individual license and areas of competence. Maintains accurate written records in accordance with program needs and standards, licensing requirements, and federal regulations.
Requirements: LCSW OR LCPC required. Masters degree required. LADC preferred in addition to LCSW/LCPC.
At least 2 years in the field of mental health and substance abuse clinical treatment is ideal. Supervision experience is a plus.Some travel may be required.
