Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions with work completed with accuracy and sound judgment ensuring objectives are met.
Write Cerner Command Language programs to query Cerner database and create reports to support Pathology laboratory workflow, management and research requirements.
Test queries and reports cooperatively with end users to ensure needs are fully satisfied.
Create new databases in Microsoft Access, SQL Server or other systems to support data management requirements including multi-user interfaces and web interfaces. Create reports and data analysis using query software for these databases.
Create XML and flat file transfer applications in .NET for direct data transfer to outside state agencies, federal agencies and private health care organizations to support reporting of infectious disease, toxicology and other data used for public health and for insurance reimbursement.
Maintain programs created to query Cerner database, other databases, data analysis and reports, user interfaces and data exchange processes.
Ensure all automated and scheduled jobs perform correctly and as scheduled.

Position requires a Bachelors Degree with three (3) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of related education and experience
