The VCU Health System's Policy and Community Relations department is seeking a full time Bundles Program Manager. The Bundles Program Manager will work in matrix relationships with physicians, contracted/affiliated vendors and key clinical and administrative stakeholders to accelerate hospitals' success in bundled payment programs, both with the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and with private payers. Manager will be responsible for (1) vision-setting for growth and project managing new operational initiatives that serve patients within bundled payment programs, (2) drawing insights from current-state gap analyses of clinical and nonclinical protocols to generate and implement high-value recommendations and (3) being a reliable policy knowledge expert on evolving CMS programs.
Level and type of experience REQUIRED:
Minimum of 8 years of experience with program management approaches; experience working on large, multidisciplinary programs; minimum of 5 years' experience working with physicians and clinical teams; knowledge of CMS/commercial payer value-based payment programs
Experience leading organizational change
Strong analytical skills in summarizing information and data from various sources to solve problems
Level and type of experience PREFERRED:
Experience with healthcare provider(s) and/or healthcare consulting strongly preferred; knowledge of BPCI/BPCI-A program preferred
Knowledge of healthcare industry post-acute provider ecosystem and healthcare provider reimbursement preferred
Knowledge of clinical unit and operating room processes strongly preferred
MBA, MHA or other Master's degree preferred
