Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (equivalent experience, knowledge, and skills may be substituted in lieu of degree).

 

Licenses and/or Certifications

·         Current CPR certification required.

·         Current ACLS certification required.

·         Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas or eligibility to do so required.

 

Job Summary

The Nursing supervisor is a registered nurse to who is delegated the authority and responsibility for selected programs and aspects of programs associated with all nursing departments. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing functions within the department of nursing on the evening and night shifts. Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.
