Your Job:

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you will be responsible for utilities and medical gas services throughout the facility. The Supervisor Engineering is responsible for supervising Physical Plant employees in the maintenance of equipment and buildings.

Your Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Five year work experience; two of those years working in a Healthcare Facility preferred
  • Proficient in all building systems and capable of developing and implementing facility procedures
  • Working knowledge of boilers, HVAC, electrical power generation and distribution equipment, refrigeration, medical gas, fire alarm and other building systems

Your Job Responsibilities :

  • Adheres to established safety regulations and guidelines to ensure that work is carried out in an effective and safe manner.
  • Assigned lead responsibilities for particular systems and/or processes.
  • Assists in training Facility Techs 1, 2, 3 and 4.
  • Assumes operational responsibility of the department in the absence of the Director or Manager.
  • Monitors and facilitates the work of outside contractors performing repairs and/or installations at MHS facilities.
  • Plans projects through meetings with customer departments, Architects, Facilities Director, Contractors and Sub-Contractors.
  • Responsible for completion of projects in a timely manner in compliance with appropriate state, federal and local codes and standards.
  • Responsible for completion of reports and documentation of required testing of various systems.
  • Supervises and coordinates the daily activities of Maintenance personnel to ensure the completion of repair and preventative maintenance work orders.
