Your Job:
In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Reimbursement Coding Specialist position is to direct and perform all efforts to review coding charges, for radiology procedures,  medical necessity, and other facets necessary to properly bill and receive reimbursement for all proper and legal billings.

Your Job Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology/Imaging -or-
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Clinical National Registry / licensure related to Clinical Expertise
Your Job Responsibilities:
  • ·        Highly motivated individual that will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams such as, HIM, Radiology, Physician groups, to ensure all radiology procedures are coded correctly by meeting insurance companies and CMS requirements.

    ·        Coding specialist will review data to ensure assigned codes meet required legal and insurance rules.

    ·        Resolve related issues of claim denials  by conducting medical record research and corresponding with other healthcare professionals.

    ·        Have a thorough knowledge of the latest CPT and ICD codes.
