The Genitourinary Medical Oncologist, Associate Member serves as a member of the Moffitt Medical Group. This position involves all aspects of patient care, including the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients. This position demonstrates an interdisciplinary approach to treating cancer and works with several specialists to optimize patient care delivery. All functions are performed within the scope of the Florida medical license, board certification, and authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center.

- A strong background and commitment to develop research studies.
The Genitourinary Medical Oncologist, Associate Member provides medical treatment to patients with metastatic cancers, places and refers patients to clinical trials. Included in this position is teaching of fellows, residents, and students as assigned.
This position also engages in clinical research in conjunction with delivery of clinical services and demonstrates creative activity including discovery of new knowledge and development of new educational techniques.
The Genitourinary Medical Oncologist, Associate Member reports to the Department Chair / Program Leader and also supervises fellows, residents, students, clinical staff, as appropriate.
Credentials and Qualifications:
· MD or Equivalent
· Board certified (or eligible) in area of specialty
· Fellowship training in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
· Florida Medical License
· DEA License
· ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff Services
