Enterprise Architect

 

·         The Enterprise Architect ("EA") catalogs, develops, coordinates, communicates, maintains, and enforces the overall Enterprise Architecture Models, Representations, Capabilities, and Standard Components used by the Enterprise to perform all business and technology related activities.

·         The EA is responsible for ensuring the IT portfolio not only meets the immediate needs of the business, but does so in a manner that allows scalability.

·         The EA is responsible for strategic thinking in regard to future needs that may arise in all areas of the enterprise.

 The Ideal Candidate:

·         Excellent communication: written, oral and presentation skills. Working proficiency with website navigation and Microsoft Office; i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.

 Responsibilities:

·         Works across all IT teams and maintains a purview of standards and documentation of all IT systems architecture, including the Center's reference architecture and framework.

·         Evaluates emerging technologies/software for possible consideration and use in the organization.

·         Participates in system change management and configuration.

·         Creates and updates artifacts as part of the organization's Software Development Life Cycle ("SDLC") where appropriate.

·         Participates in new initiative/project reviews and helps develop the appropriate architecture and deployment plan.

·         Participates in strategic planning, with a goal of optimizing the IT infrastructure, reducing duplication, and meeting the business needs in the most effective and efficient manner possible.

 Credentials and Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree- Minimum four (4) years' experience in information system development, implementation, and support.

- OR -  * High School Diploma with an additional seven (7) years of Information Systems operational systems support and/or development experience plus the five (4) years (for a total of 11 years) experience in information system development, implementation, and support roles may be considered "in lieu" of a Bachelor's degree.

·         Demonstrated, verifiable experience and skills: collaboration, flexibility, project/task ownership, system improvement, (computerized or manual), problem solving, project management, consultation and conflict management, organization and time management, attention to detail.

·         Excellent communication: written, oral and presentation skills. Working proficiency with website navigation and Microsoft Office; i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.

 Preferred:

·         Performance improvement and process management knowledge and experience.

·         Prior experience in a specific business area with focus on information systems.

·         Relevant experience as outlined above in a health care environment.
