Practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center and Memorial Health System.  Provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group and Memorial Health System, and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the Moffitt institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer.  The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research, and education.


The Assistant / Associate Member Malignant Hematology and Cellular Therapy Oncologist provides medical treatment to patients with metastatic cancers, places and refers patients to clinical trials.  Included in this position is teaching of fellows, residents, and students as assigned.

This position also engages in clinical research in conjunction with delivery of clinical services and demonstrates creative activity including discovery of new knowledge and development of new educational techniques.

The Assistant / Associate Member Malignant Hematology and Cellular Therapy Oncologist reports to the Department Chair / Program Leader and also supervises fellows, residents, students, clinical staff, as appropriate.


Credentials and Qualifications:

·         MD or Equivalent

·         Board certified (or eligible) in area of specialty

·         Fellowship training in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology and 

         completed requirements for ABIM Certification in Internal Medicine

·         Florida Medical License

·         DEA License

·         ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff Services
