Benefit eligibility at THV is based on full time employment of 40 hours per week.
The most qualified candidate will have experience in providing excellent customer service in a high volume, fast paced office environment. Effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills along with a desire to enhance the patient experience throughout all patient interactions (the majority of which will be face-to-face) are a must.
à 2 years medical office or comparable experience. Cardiology highly preferred.
à Requests and records all information for appointment including name, demographics, insurance, referral and reason for visit.
à Works in conjunction with the billing department to ensure that all patient information and insurance information is correct and complete.
à Review appointment information with patient including any pertinent instructions of testing.
à Reviews patient encounter form, patient’s account and collects money if necessary, including all co-pays or balance due.
à Maintain missing ticket report for check and balance purpose.
à Schedules all ordered testing and / or appointments indicated on patient encounter form or verbally by a physician and documents.
à Works in conjunction with the clinical staff to ensure the patient is scheduled for all ordered appointments.
à Supplies information to callers, records, and delivers messages. Keeps record of calls placed, dates and delivers messages.
à Answers, screens, and schedules appointments for the procedures and exams done by THV
à Confirms testing and office appointments two days prior to the appointment.
