The most qualified candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, extensive experience in receiving in-bound phone calls, scheduling appointments and be deadline oriented to insure all patient information is complete prior to the start of the sleep study.
Excellent computer skills will be required for entering information into the electronic medical record.
This position will greet and check-in the patient and take vitals as needed.
The current schedule for this position is four 10-hour work days from 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with rotating day off.
High school graduate with minimum of 3 yrs experience or comparable formal education. Experience in basic secretarial skills including proper phone etiquette, typing, dictation, transcription, filing and word processing. Must be professional in stressful situations, excellent grammar, spelling, formatting and punctuation skills, type 60 WPM.
Answer telephone and take appropriate action. Type and transcribe various materials. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
