 Job Summary:

 This position is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the Recruiting function.

The incumbent in this position will support the mission, vision, values and strategic initiatives of Mary Washington Healthcare and must demonstrate a commitment to quality service to associates, patients, physicians, and the public.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Post vacant positions and reassign applicants through Position Manager

Post positions on Monster.com, as required

Forward to vendor pre-employment background and reference check screening

Prepare new hire paperwork for each new Associate

Assist with phone interview screenings

Contact Health and Wellness to ensure all new Associates/transfers are compliant

Weekly audit of upcoming orientation group that files are complete and ready for start

Meet with new Associates/transfers in completing proper paperwork

Prepare rejection letters weekly for mailing

Verify licenses and certifications as appropriate

Follow up with applicants with scheduled appointments

Generate standard and ad-hoc reports as required; and

Assist the Employment Specialist with special projects as assigned

Perform other duties as assigned.


High School Diploma or Equivalent

A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a health care setting;

Ability to effectively and accurately manage multiple tasks and complex projects in a fast paced environment;

Proficient verbal and written communication skills;

Ability to work independently and cooperatively / collaboratively as part of a team, developing productive working relationships with diverse groups of people.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications, along with a strong orientation to using personal computers in a network setting;

Familiarity with Lawson's HRIS preferred;
