We are looking for a LPN or Medical Assistant to provide basic nursing care to clinic patients following established standards and practices.  This position is also responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management and provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services.

 $500 SIGN ON BONUS

·         The LPN will require a current licensure from the State of Florida.  

·         One to three years of experience as an LPN in a private physician office required. 

·         Phlebotomy experience preferred. Phlebotomy competency must be proven within 90 days of hire date.  

·         Minimum of High School or GED required

·         Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers certification from the American Heart Association required. 

·         Verified ability to take accurate patient vital signs

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively articulate and explain required information to patients

·         Knowledge of CPT and ICD9 codes

·         Knowledge of basic and specialty medical terminology

 

·         The Medical Assistant requires completion of a Medical Assistant program and must be Nationally Certified (CMA) or Nationally Registered (RMA).

·         Phlebotomy experience preferred. Phlebotomy competency must be proven within 90 days of hire date.  

·         Verified ability to take accurate patient vital signs.  Must have one to three years of experience as MA in a private physician office required. 

·         Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers from the American Heart Association is required.

·         Ability to function independently and adapt to multiple office responsibilities for multi-specialty private medical offices.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate and explain required information to patients.

·         Computer literacy / CRT skills with the ability to perform data entry functions.

·         Proven self-starter with the ability to motivate personnel and promote teamwork.

·         Ability to access and assimilate a high volume of information rapidly.
