- Minimum six months of Med/Surg and/or Maternal Child Health experience or a Preceptorship in Obstetrics required.
-Graduated from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
-Demonstrate effective communication skills required. Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and flexibility required. Ability to multi-task and work-through competing priorities required.
-Basic Life Support, Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
- PALS verification preferred; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 6 months of hire; STABLE certified within 6 months of hire required. Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM-C) certification preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or ACLS-OB certification required within 6 months of hire.
-Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Experience in an inpatient setting in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, Newborn and/or Neonatal Intensive Care preferred.
- Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring, ACLS NRP, STABLE certified preferred.
