Ensures optimal efficiencies of the Emergency Department waiting room operations by providing leadership, intra-hospital communication and accountability. Assists in investing Feedback tickets and patient follow up while working directly with Patient Experience Manager and ED Management. Analyzes data specific to the ED to help reduce length of stay as well as generate ideas and help implement ideas for patient experience improvements. Direct and consistent communication with patients in the ED waiting room regarding care. Management and care of a large number of patients; delegates care as appropriate. Assists in providing patient experience education and training to other staff members in the department.
Current Colorado RN License or Nurse Licensure compact (Multi State Licensure), One year nursing experience and strong customer service background required. BLS ACLS, PALS, to be completed within 12 months of hire. Certified Emergency Nurse and BSN preferred.
