    Directs work efforts to support and improve physician office customer satisfaction.
    1. Participates in assignments with a collaborative spirit.
    2. Maintains a positive relationship with vendors, service, and supply representatives.
    3. Participates in quality improvement activities and training seminars.
    4. Dresses appropriately and adheres to office standards of decorum.
    Assists with greeting and directing patients; answers telephone.
    1. Gives clear, accurate information to callers.
    2. Greets and takes care of patients promptly and courteously.
    3. Listens to patients needs and tailors information and resources based on age, level of understanding and cultural needs.
    4. Screens physician calls and utilizes assessment skills to evaluate patient's chief complaint, determines urgency of the problem, consults with provider regarding treatment, and advises patient accordingly.
    Directs work efforts to support office staff and physicians.
    1. Oversees the daily tasks in the assigned physician office.
    2. Prepares and copies medical records for attorneys, physicians, patients, and insurance companies.
    3. Prepares fee letters and records payments received for copies of medical records, when applicable.
    4. Schedules appointments for depositions between attorneys and physicians.
    5. Reconciles co-payments received and prepares bank deposit slips daily.
    6. Enters, maintains, and monitors time and attendance records.
    7. Prepares staff schedules on a monthly basis.
    8. Responds to patient issues and concerns.
    9. Monitors and maintains petty cash drawer.
    10. Orders office supplies.
    11. Prioritizes workload in order to meet time frames and deadlines
    Coordinates gathering of patient insurance information, scheduling of appointments, and submission of billing information.
    1. Directs office staff concerning the proper methods of obtaining patient demographic and insurance information.
    2. Verifies the appropriate billing information is captured for each patient encounter/clinical procedure performed by the physician in the office or at the Hospital.
    3. Assists the physician with identification of appropriate procedure codes, as needed.
    4. Serves as a resource for office staff and billing company in matters concerning patient billing.
    Assumes a leadership role in training and supporting co-workers.
    1. Shares pertinent information willingly and effectively teaches others to perform tasks accurately.
    2. Informs the PPC Director of any issues/problems that may arise.
    3. Offers constructive recommendations for improvement of patient care/office operations where applicable.
    Interacts and communicates professionally with co-workers, supervisor, patients and physicians.
    1. Exhibits professionalism by maintaining confidentiality of Hospital issues.
    2. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
    3. Demonstrates appropriate interpersonal skills, being cognizant of "age specific" needs of the patient.
    Must have experience in a medical office and experience managing others.
    Performs other duties as requested.
