Job Details:
  • This is a PRN position.  Greets the public as they enter the building, presenting a warm and friendly demeanor. Provides directions to destinations, assists patients or visitors by providing wheelchair is needed. Escorts patients needing Emergency or Outpatient infusion services to Emergency Department if they are unable to walk there independently. Responsible for the daily provision of exceptional service to external customers and guests of the hospital.  Handles one on one communication with customers/guests to answer questions, direct them to the appropriate place, etc. Assists in the implementation of new customer service initiatives as related to Guest Services.

    Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:

    v      High school graduate or GED.

    v      3 years of customer service preferred.

    v      Healthcare experience would be beneficial.

    v      Knowledgeable in computer programs preferred.

    v      Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

    v      Ability to communicate effectively as a member of a team.

    v      Ability to maintain composure in a busy working environment.

    PRN: Employees who are not committed to a set schedule or set number of hours, but do comply with certain minimums as set by the department/facility. These employees will not have regularly scheduled shifts but must work at least 1 shift in a 6 month period or as required by the specific department, whichever is more.
