Job Details:
  • Reporting to the VP of Development, the Development Associate will be responsible for the acknowledgment of approximately 3,000 annual contributions and all aspects of gift processing including data entry and reporting. The Associate performs diverse administrative responsibilities including distribution of department mail, ordering supplies, placing purchase orders, handling phone calls, developing/maintaining schedules and coordinating hospital services for Development Department. Works collaboratively with other individuals within the department relative to projects/programs such as fundraising events, mail appeals, etc.

    High school diploma/GED required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Administrative Support in Development or related position preferred. Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills including effective verbal and written communication skills required. Experience supporting the cultivation of new and existing donors. Strong computer and technology acumen; proficiency with MS Office software (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and Outlook required. Demonstrated outstanding organizational skills; ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and confidential information required. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge fund raising software preferred. Must be detail oriented and have excellent math/bookkeeping skills; familiarity with accounting and finance terminology preferred.
