Participates in development and evaluation of nursing practices provided in the clinical setting and the overall function of the clinical area. This includes planning and provision of comprehensive nursing care to a specific group of patients, delivery of prescribed medical regimens and participation in the identification and resolution of nursing practice/unit problems. This position requires the use of independent judgment in directing employees. This position requires involving service to the appropriate age population(s) in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/development age of the individual served.
Required: Graduate of a school of professional nursing. Current West Virginia State nursing license. Must possess BLS and ACLS certification within probationary period.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing. One year of Medical/Surgical and/or Critical Care experience. Pediatric experience. PALS Certification. Specialty Certification. CCRN Certification.
