Responsible for the maintenance and management of provider contracts for Health Plan Services (HPS). Investigates and resolves concerns from providers, including but not limited to claims, fee schedules, and contract issues. Responsible for provider education as well as verbal and written communication with the provider network. Delivers outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
Knowledge and skills normally obtained by acquiring an Associate's degree in a health care related field;
Must have a valid state issued driver's license.
Must have at least two years of comprehensive experience in managed healthcare, provider relations, utilization management or physician office experience.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must provide own transportation; Will be required to work outside the office approximately 5% of the time.
