Join the Peninsula Human Resources team! We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist (Business Partner) who will be instrumental in supporting team members throughout the Peninsula region. This position works under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting departments and facilities in meeting overall human resources functions and RHS Mission, Vision and Values. Responsible for employee relations functions, developing human resources policies and procedures, participates in HR project teams, and performing other duties as assigned. The Human Resources Generalist works in conjunction with the Total Rewards and Talent Recruitment departments on benefits administration, compensation, recruitment, and retention.
Additional Information: This position is responsible for the support of approximately 700 employees (total headcount) including assigned Riverside Regional Medical Center nursing units, Respiratory Care, Cancer Infusion services, Home Health and Hospice within the region. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service, critical thinking, and time management skills. Positive attitude and aptitude for process improvement is desirable.
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Certifications: PHR/SPHR is preferred.
Experience: Three (3) or more years of related Human Resources experience required. Significant employee relations experience as well as healthcare system experience is strongly preferred.
Hours: Primarily Monday through Friday days; flexible to work additional hours as needed.
